Katie & Thibault's Wedding

All weddings are special. But when one of your friends is marrying the love of her life, it makes it just that little bit more.... especially when they give you the honour of designing the florals for their big day.

Katie & Thibault changed up the typical wedding day formula, choosing to have an intimate morning ceremony at the Old Treasury Building in Melbourne; before moving to Pepe's Italian & Liquor at Trunk Town for a lunch time reception. Inspired by the colour scheme of the restaurant, a more moody colour palette was chosen for the florals, but with contrasting brightness to stand out against the wooden furnishing in the venue.

As for the reception itself, with Katie a ballroom dancer, an amazing first dance was performed, kick starting the festivities, and an endless afternoon of twirls, dips, laughter and most importantly love.

Thank you Phoebe for seeing our vision and being able to piece together exquisite table pieces, buttonholes and a gorgeous bridal bouquet with only a colour pallet and some scattered thoughts. We received many compliments on the centerpieces and bouquet on the day. The photos barely do justice for the flowers. And the scent.... incredible. Beautiful fresh flowers. Gorgeous arrangement and thoughtfully designed, even with a cheeky spray paint to incorporate some gold to match my bridal Crown.

You put everything together for us at our venue early morning and hand delivered my bridal bouquet right into my arms. It was a complete delight. Everything was perfect! Thank you so much.
